Cant watch on T.V. with AV adapter

Bought a new Apple AV adapter and started using it to watch videos on You Tube, worked great! Even watched live streams from German News. Then tried to watch Netflix and videos wouldnt play. The new Netflix update wont let the videos play. Did some research and it seems to be the new update since the last version would play the videos. Im hoping they fix it soon.
