App works just OK. Free trial offer is shady.
The app itself works ok. The fact that you cant password protect profiles is insane if you ask me. What is the point in having a kids profile if all they have to do is click on their parents profile to watch non age appropriate content. Also, the "are you still watching" message is beyond annoying. I myself signed up through iTunes with an eligible (for the free trial) email address. The offer said 1 month free trial however 11.99 was deducted from my gift card balance. Netflix support said to call Apple because they handle the billing when you sign up through iTunes. Apple told me that it was a Netflix issue and to contact them. I told them that I already had and the only resolution that Apple offered was to credit the 11.99 back which would also cancel my Netflix subscription. As you can see this is not really a resolution at all. Basically both companies are pointing the finger at each other without offering any acceptable resolution. Im only posting this in a review so that others can be wary and hopefully not get taken by what seems to be a bait and switch type tactic.
